Weddings

Weddings at St Marks Church Talbot Village

Today more than a quarter of all marriages in England take place before God in the traditional setting of a Church of England church. You’re welcome to marry in church whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are baptised and whether or not you go to church. There are legal qualifications for getting married in a particular church but we can help guide you through them. If you (or your parents) live in our parish or have done so for 6 months previously you qualify. Also if your parents or grandparents were married at St Mark’s you also qualify. For more information please read more on the Church of England website or contact our Church office on 01202 529349 Mon to Fri 9am – 12:30 pm.
